The ideal candidate will have worked in the Freight forwarding industry for at least 2 or 3 years and preferably 5 years or more. Ideally working for both a large organisation and a small forwarder, and although this isn’t essential, it would be a bonus. During their ‘apprenticeship’ they will have spent a reasonable time being a freight forwarder organising all the documentary and logistical requirements of their employer’s customers. Our client based in Huddersfield will train you on the technology and support you with the engineering resource to design and deliver completed solutions. Your role is to understand the customer, work with the tech team to design the proposal and importantly to keep the customer close to you during the sales process.
- To take inbound business customers IT requirements and identify the immediate opportunity

Key Skills and Experience - Essential
- A good knowledge of IT, specifically Servers, Laptops and networking

Desirable
- 12 months experience of designing and selling complete Server Solutions
- Proven experience selling IT Support contracts
- HP Sales accreditation in Servers or networking
